What I see can be me interview #6 -streets of skid row

Last week we had a chance to interview Skid Row resident and artist Gary Brown about his experience and memories about the 5th Street Mural more commonly known as” What I See Can Be Me" During the shoot a street person out of no where ran through our shoot area pulling down tripod, camera while picking up speed shouting wildly, The End of The World, The End of The Word, through the grace of God I instinctively reached out as it was happening to cradle my camera at the last possible moment all seemingly happing in slow motion; yes there are many persons walking the streets of skid row who are mentally challenged, they must never be harmed. We shall continue or coverage of the 5th Street Mural. Gary shared his experiences as a homeless man living just off the corner back in the 90’s.
